FUP rules throttle or modify a customer’s speed after they cross a defined data threshold — keeping usage fair across your network without cutting anyone off completely.

FUP rule fields

Field	Description
Name	Descriptive rule name
Data Limit	Data cap before throttling (GB/MB)
Throttle Download	Speed after cap (e.g. 1 Mbps)
Throttle Upload	Upload speed after cap
Reset Period	When usage counters reset (daily/monthly)

Actions

Create, Edit, Delete, or Assign a rule to a package.

FUP rules are optional per package — a package with no linked rule has no usage cap.
